Welcome to the 1st Day of the 2023 Fall Tour Invitational. Day 1 is the Classic Big Ridge stage, located on the stunning Rabun Bald in Rabun Gap, Georgia. This challenging trail promises to push the limits of both endurance and technical skills, offering a thrilling experience for all riders. Starting at Claude Kelly Park, this course spans a total distance of 30.77 miles, presenting riders with an epic adventure through rugged landscapes and remarkable wilderness. Embark on a journey filled with adrenaline-pumping climbs and heart-racing descents, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountainous terrain.

Prepare yourself for a grueling uphill battle during the first time section, the uphill time section from Salt Rock Gap to the Bald. With a total elevation gain of 1000 feet, this challenging climb will test your strength and determination. Reach for the KOM (King of the Mountain) points as you push your limits to conquer this formidable ascent.

The real excitement begins as you enter the downhill sections. The first downhill time section, the crown jewel... BIG RIDGE, will put your technical skills to the test. Navigate through treacherous rock gardens, tight corners, and thrilling jumps as you plunge downwards. Be prepared to unlock your inner daredevil and let loose your bike handling prowess on this exciting descent.

As the course progresses, the second downhill time section, BTDT (Bartram and D-Train), awaits. This section promises fast-flowing trails and exhilarating descents that will leave you breathless. Time your line choices carefully and master the art of speed as you navigate through the twisting turns and technical features. It is in this section where the Rowdy Town, known for their fearless riding, have an excellent chance of achieving victory.
