The stage features several time sections that will add an extra level of excitement. The first one is Keener, affectionately known as Tunnel Mountain, where riders will navigate their way through a network of tunnels for a truly unique experience. Next up is Media Blackout - Howler, a section that demands focus
and precision to maneuver through tight corners, super technical features and drops, while being cut off from any external communication.
The adrenaline continues with the Overlook DH, a fitting end downhill section that rewards those who can maintain control and speed while navigating steep slopes and rocky terrain and a snake pit. This is where riders can truly showcase their downhill skills and push the limits of their bikes.
To add even more excitement to the stage, the KOM section at Patterson Gap is an untimed section. Riders can go all-out and push themselves to the max without the pressure of the clock, aiming to be crowned the KOM of the day and maybe the deciding climb for the jersey.
